Preparations

Upon appointed time, please have your horse groomed and haltered in his clean, recently picked stall. If it is near feeding time, please feed prior to session.  Someone should be available to hand walk your horse for about 20 minutes following the session. Pasture turn out is ideal afterward for best results, and an easy work day thereafter.

Frequency

Typically performance results are seen and felt from the first Masterson Method session.  Greater improvements in range of motion, softness, and the horse's agility may be experienced with multiple visits.  A bodywork schedule can be customized for your horse's current level of work and/or accumulated tension after initial visit.
Southington, Ohio: The reason why critters, friend or foe, should not be in the stall while bodywork is being performed.  Please watch the clip through its entirety, it will only take a minute and you are sure to enjoy!  Winter, 2014.

Bodywork and massage are not to be in place of proper veterinary care.  Your horse's bodyworker is an integral member of your equine health care team, including your vet, farrier, and equine dentist.
